An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command awarded many Fatherland Protection Orders
239 officers and soldiers of the An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command were honored to be awarded Orders and Medals by the President.
On the afternoon of January 29, the An Giang Provincial Border Guard Command organized a ceremony to award the Fatherland Protection Order to individuals of the An Giang Border Guard. Accordingly, 239 officers and soldiers of the An Giang Provincial Border Guard were honored to be awarded the Fatherland Protection Order, the Determined to Win Military Flag Medal and the Glorious Soldier Medal by the President.
Among them, 13 individuals were honored to be awarded the Fatherland Protection Order by the President for their outstanding achievements in the working process, contributing to the cause of building socialism and protecting the Fatherland (2 Second-class Fatherland Protection Orders and 11 Third-class Fatherland Protection Orders).
35 individuals were awarded the Military Flag of Determined Victory Medal, 191 individuals were awarded the Medal of Glorious Soldier for having worked in the People's Army forces, contributing to building the army, consolidating national defense and protecting the Fatherland.
