Commune Secretary in Lang Son becomes Director of the Provincial Traffic Project Management Board

On January 15, the People's Committee of Lang Son province held a conference to announce the decision to establish and appoint the leaders of the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board.

Accordingly, the Lang Son Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board is a public service unit under the Provincial People's Committee.

The unit operates under an autonomous mechanism, self-responsible for organizing the apparatus, personnel and finance based on project management funds in the total approved investment and other legal sources.

The Board has legal status, its own seal and account; is under the direct direction and management of the Provincial People's Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the professional guidance of competent authorities.

The organizational structure includes a Director, no more than three Deputy Directors and five professional and technical departments.

The Board's headquarters is located at Km 15+300, National Highway 1, Ky Lua Ward, Lang Son Province.

Also at the conference, the leaders of the Department of Home Affairs announced the decision on Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Khanh Khe Commune, to be appointed to the position of Director of the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Director of the Construction Maintenance Management Board (Department of Construction), was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Board.

The term of appointment is 5 years, starting from January 15, 2026.

Speaking at the conference, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Huu Hoc requested the Board to promptly improve the organizational structure, arrange personnel for specialized departments, strengthen coordination with departments, branches and localities, promptly advise solutions to remove obstacles in the implementation of key transport projects.

Receiving the assignment, Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan said that he will promote his management experience, together with the collective of cadres and civil servants, to successfully complete the assigned tasks, contributing to promoting the development of transport infrastructure in the province.
