Ward Party Secretary and Chairman go to the scene 2 days/time to promote the progress of Ring Road 2.5

On January 27, Mr. Vo Dang Dung - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Khuong Dinh ward and Mr. Nguyen Sy Doan - Chairman of the Ward People's Committee together rode motorbikes to the scene to inspect and urge the progress of site clearance for the Ring Road 2.5 project, Nguyen Trai - Dam Hong section.

Talking to Lao Dong reporters at the scene, Secretary of the Party Committee of Khuong Dinh ward Vo Dang Dung said that the Ring Road 2.5 project, Nguyen Trai - Dam Hong section, has a length of 1.52km, involving 736 households, individuals and 13 organizations that must carry out site clearance.

As of January 27, Khuong Dinh ward has completed site clearance for 12/13 agencies and units; 31 households have handed over land and are demolishing works to implement the project according to regulations.

For the remaining about 700 households and individuals, the ward has completed measurement, inventory of the current status and publicly announced the draft of more than 250 compensation, support, and resettlement plans.

In the process of publicizing, local authorities continue to organize direct dialogues to listen to the thoughts and aspirations of the people, summarize and reflect to higher levels, ensuring compliance with the provisions of law.

Over the past time, the Khuong Dinh ward government has focused on leading and directing drastically on site clearance for the Ring Road 2.5 project, closely following the directions of the City Party Committee, People's Council, and Hanoi City People's Committee.

The ward has established a site clearance steering committee, assigning specific tasks to members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and leaders of the Ward People's Committee to organize implementation.

The Party Secretary and Chairman of the Ward People's Committee directly go to the scene on average every 2 days to inspect and urge progress, and at the same time propagate and mobilize people to comply with the land clearance policy.

When unexpected opinions and recommendations arise, ward leaders also proactively arrange time to go to the scene as soon as possible to handle them.

Secretary of the Party Committee of Khuong Dinh Ward Vo Dang Dung said that in the process of implementing site clearance for the Ring Road 2.5 project, Nguyen Trai - Dam Hong section, local authorities still face some difficulties due to the project being prolonged for many years.

The implementation from the 2000s to now has been more than 25 years, during which people have bought, sold, transferred, and built works within the project scope, causing many obstacles when carrying out land recovery.

In addition, people currently petition the most related to compensation, support and resettlement policies.

We always promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people to report to the City Party Committee, People's Council, and Hanoi City People's Committee for consideration and promulgation of appropriate policies, ensuring legitimate rights for the people in the land clearance process," Mr. Dung emphasized.

Khuong Dinh Ward identifies this as a key political task in 2026 and is determined to complete the site clearance of the Ring Road 2.5 project, Nguyen Trai - Dam Hong section, in accordance with the direction of Hanoi City.

In the immediate future, in the first quarter, Khuong Dinh ward will hand over about 500m out of a total of 1,520m of the route length to the construction unit to implement the project.
