Hanoi - Khuong Dinh Ward is implementing land acquisition and site clearance to implement the Ring Road 2.5 project, Nguyen Trai - Dam Hong section.

The project connecting Nguyen Trai Street (National Highway 6) - Dam Hong is one of the sections of the Ring Road 2.5 project being implemented in Hanoi.

The project is 1,520m long, with a cross-section of 40m and a total investment of VND 2,433 billion.

According to statistics from the People's Committee of Khuong Dinh Ward, to implement the project, it will be necessary to clear land for 703 organizations, individuals, and households with a total recovered land area of 60,902.1m2.

Implementing the City's policy on implementing key transport infrastructure projects, in recent times, the People's Committee of Khuong Dinh Ward has actively coordinated with functional agencies to promote propaganda and mobilization of people in site clearance to serve the construction of the Ring Road 2.5 project, from Nguyen Trai to Dam Hong.

Chairman of Khuong Dinh Ward People's Committee Nguyen Sy Doan emphasized that the early handover of the site not only demonstrates the sense of responsibility and consensus of the people but also contributes to ensuring the construction progress, avoiding additional costs and prolonging the project implementation time.

The People's Committee of the ward hopes to continue to receive support, coordination and sharing from households that have received compensation and support, and soon complete the handover of the site, creating favorable conditions for the Ring Road 2.5 project from Nguyen Trai to Dam Hong to be implemented on schedule and achieve high efficiency.

The Ring Road 2.5 starts from the Ciputra New Urban Area, ending at the intersection with Ring Road 3 (near Thanh Tri Bridge) with a total length of about 19.64km, planned width of 40-50m.

The Ring Road 2.5 has been put into use at 5/13 sections with a length of 11.28km. Currently implementing the 8/13 project with a length of more than 8km.

Hanoi aims to complete the remaining 8 sections in 2026.

According to the Hanoi People's Committee, the Ring Road 2.5 plays an important role in the Hanoi capital's transportation system, contributing to the decentralization of vehicle traffic volume, reducing pressure on main routes such as Ring Road 2 and Ring Road 3.

This route not only promotes the socio-economy but is also a key solution to solve the city's traffic problem.
