Bac Ninh urges project progress of nearly VND86,000 billion
Bac Ninh - On the afternoon of March 11, a conference was held to urge the progress of the implementation of the Ring Road 4 project - Hanoi Capital Region (section through Bac Ninh province).
According to the report of the Bac Ninh Province Traffic and Agricultural Project Management Board, up to now, component project 1.3, compensation, support, and site clearance (GPMB) has handed over 364 hectares (reaching 100%) of agricultural land area...
There are about 8.6 hectares of residential land, land sold without authority, and assets on land of 435 households that have not yet been handed over. Localities have approved compensation plans, are making payments and organizing the dismantling and relocation of assets.
The relocation of all technical infrastructure items is expected to be completed in September 2025.
Regarding resettlement projects, 2 projects have been completed and 8 projects are under construction.
For component project 2.3, 33 construction teams are currently being arranged. The total construction value reached VND627.83 billion (reaching 27.31%).
The project is still facing difficulties with residential land areas, land allocated without authority, contested farm land that has not been handed over with a length of 4.7km; sand material resources are very scarce; some locations of the site have not been relocated due to infrastructure works... directly affecting the project's construction progress.
Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Ngo Tan Phuong requested contractors of packages that are behind schedule to seriously learn from experience and immediately establish construction progress according to the adjusted plan. Request the consulting unit to urgently complete additional design adjustments so that contractors can organize construction.
The Department of Construction coordinates and supports the Traffic and Agricultural Project Management Board to work with relevant ministries and branches to complete the connection in March, and review responsibilities if there are delays.
Mr. Ngo Tan Phuong also requested the Traffic and Agricultural Project Management Board, supervisors, contractors, and design consultants to closely coordinate, ensuring sufficient numbers of workers, labor, materials, and materials to be ready to organize the construction of sections of the route with available land.
Regarding site clearance, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the Department of Construction to support and guide localities to thoroughly resolve problems; localities uphold their sense of responsibility, strongly direct, and hand over the site in accordance with the province's direction.
The construction project of Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region belongs to the group of important national projects, with a total length of 112.8km (including 58.2km through Hanoi, the remaining 9.7km is the route connecting to Hanoi - Ha Long Expressway and the part passing through Hung Yen and Bac Ninh provinces).
The total preliminary investment of the project is 85,813 billion VND.
The Ring Road 4 project of the Capital Region has 35.3km passing through Bac Ninh, including 4 districts and towns: Bac Ninh City, Thuan Thanh Town and Que Vo, Gia Binh District.
