3.5 billion VND to support Truong Sa and DK1 Bridge House
Truong Sa - Working Group No. 7 visited and presented gifts to officers, soldiers and people of 6 islands in Truong Sa archipelago and the DK1 11 booth.
The 7th working group has more than 200 delegates from the professional departments of the Ministry of Public Security; Police of localities; outstanding students and artists of the People's Public Security force along with a number of reporters, journalists, photographers and Navy officers and soldiers.

During the 7-day journey (from 6.12.4.), departing from Cam Ranh (Khanh Hoa province), the working group visited 6 islands in Truong Sa archipelago, including Song Tu Tay, Sinh Ton, Co Lin, Dong A Stone, Tay B Stone, Truong Sa and DK1/11.

On ship 561, the Youth Union held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate the Hung Kings on the 10th of the 3rd lunar month. The delegation also solemnly participated in the flag-raising ceremony and team approval ceremony on Truong Sa island; held a memorial service for officers and soldiers who sacrificed their lives to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands in the sea area near Co Lin island; offered incense at the Tran Hung Dao National institutions Monument (Song Tu Tay island), the Monument to martyrs and the Monument to Uncle Ho in Truong Sa town.

At the destinations, the Working Group had working sessions, visits, encouragement, gift giving, and cultural exchanges with soldiers, people, and forces on duty.

The working group also presented gifts to the army and people, forces on duty, schools, infirmaries... with a total value of about 3.5 billion VND, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life on the islands and the Giai Than.

Colonel Pham Minh Tuan - Deputy Chief of the Navy's staff informed: The trip helped the delegates experience deeply, feel more clearly the difficulties, hardships and sacrifices of the Navy officers, soldiers and people who are day and night guarding the sacred sea and islands, thereby making it clearer that sovereignty is invincible.

"The visit has also contributed to strengthening the solidarity of the army and people, demonstrating the deep concern of the Party, State and departments for cadres, soldiers and people at the forefront of the Fatherland," said Colonel Tuan.
