Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union establishes 3 more grassroots trade unions in enterprises
Lam Dong - 3 more grassroots trade unions at businesses have just been established, further expanding the coverage of trade union organizations at the grassroots level.
On August 27, Mr. Thai Ngoc Son, Chairman of Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union (Lam Dong province), said that the locality has just established 3 more grassroots trade unions.
According to the decision of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, 3 grassroots trade unions have just been established directly under the Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union, including Bien Que Huong Binh Thuan Co., Ltd., Thuy Loc Trading - Service - Import-Export Co., Ltd. and Vuong Phat Phat Co., Ltd.
A total of 62 workers were admitted to the Vietnam Trade Union organization in the above 3 units.
At the announcement ceremony, the Chairman of Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union congratulated the newly established grassroots trade unions and emphasized the role of connecting workers with businesses.
According to Mr. Thai Ngoc Son, Chairman of the Ward Trade Union, grassroots trade unions have the task of representing and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members. At the same time, trade union organizations participate in caring for material and spiritual life, contributing to building a stable and harmonious working environment.
The Chairman of Phu Thuy Ward Trade Union proposed that the Executive Committees of grassroots trade unions soon complete operating regulations, promote their representative role and coordinate with businesses to implement emulation movements and activities to care for workers.
The Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation said that the continuous establishment of grassroots trade unions at enterprises contributes to expanding the network of Vietnam Trade Union organizations, increasing the rate of gathering workers and improving the effectiveness of caring for and protecting union members' rights.
Through this, the trade union organization continues to accompany businesses, contributing to building stable, progressive and sustainable labor relations.
