Khanh Hoa - The locality that just held the opening ceremony of the 1st "Sport Front" Football Tournament in 2026 to promote mass physical education and sports movements.

On August 6, news from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Trung Khanh Vinh commune said that it had organized the opening ceremony of the 1st "Sport Front" Football Tournament in 2026.

The tournament gathers 8 teams with nearly 80 athletes from localities inside and outside the commune. The teams are divided into 2 groups, playing in a round-robin format to select the 2 first and second teams from each group to the semi-finals, then compete for the first, second and third positions.

The matches are organized in a 5-person mini-football format, applying the current Futsal Law. According to the plan, the tournament will close on August 9.

The organizers will award cups, flags, medals and cash prizes to teams with high achievements. In addition, individual awards including best player, best goalkeeper and top scorer will also be awarded.

The first "Sport Front" Football Tournament in 2026 is organized to create a healthy and useful playground, contributing to promoting the movement of physical training following the example of the great Uncle Ho; and at the same time strengthening the spirit of solidarity, exchange, and learning between units, officials, union members, association members and people from all walks of life.
