Organizing the Fatherland Front Football Tournament to promote the mass sports movement
Khanh Hoa - The locality that just held the opening ceremony of the 1st "Sport Front" Football Tournament in 2026 to promote mass physical education and sports movements.
On August 6, news from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Trung Khanh Vinh commune said that it had organized the opening ceremony of the 1st "Sport Front" Football Tournament in 2026.
The program aims to celebrate the 81st anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2026) and the 81st anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2026).
The tournament gathers 8 teams with nearly 80 athletes from localities inside and outside the commune. The teams are divided into 2 groups, playing in a round-robin format to select the 2 first and second teams from each group to the semi-finals, then compete for the first, second and third positions.
The matches are organized in a 5-person mini-football format, applying the current Futsal Law. According to the plan, the tournament will close on August 9.
The organizers will award cups, flags, medals and cash prizes to teams with high achievements. In addition, individual awards including best player, best goalkeeper and top scorer will also be awarded.
The first "Sport Front" Football Tournament in 2026 is organized to create a healthy and useful playground, contributing to promoting the movement of physical training following the example of the great Uncle Ho; and at the same time strengthening the spirit of solidarity, exchange, and learning between units, officials, union members, association members and people from all walks of life.
Through the tournament, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Trung Khanh Vinh commune wishes to continue to promote the mass sports movement, strengthen the connection between agencies, units, residential areas and people in the area; contributing to the effective implementation of the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas", building Trung Khanh Vinh commune to become increasingly developed, civilized and prosperous.
