Hai Phong youth rewarded for using fire extinguishers to save people

The Standing Committee of the City Youth Union and the Party Committee and government of Duong Kinh ward commend and reward Pham The Huy Hoang (born in 2001, member of the Youth Union of Residential Group No. 11, Duong Kinh ward) for his courageous act of using fire extinguishers to control a subject using a weapon to attack a woman in the Lach Tray area on the evening of June 1st.

According to the Hai Phong City Youth Union, in recent days, public opinion and people of Hai Phong city have been extremely admired for the courageous actions of Pham The Huy Hoang - a union member of Duong Kinh ward. When witnessing a woman being attacked by a subject using a weapon on the street, while many people around were still hesitant because the subject was very aggressive and was holding a weapon, Hoang did not mind the danger, proactively finding a way to help the victim. With his quick wit and calmness, Hoang quickly used a fire extinguisher to control and prevent the subject, contributing to protecting the safety of the victim and those around him.

In a dangerous moment, the decisive, responsible and heroic action of the comrade not only contributed to rescuing people in distress but also spreading good values in the community, clearly showing the bravery, pioneering spirit and responsibility of Hai Phong youth.
