People in flooded areas in Lam Dong receive support for damage caused by natural disasters
Lam Dong - More than 38 billion VND was paid to support people in communes and wards affected by natural disasters in December 2025.
On January 22, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ham Thuan Bac commune (Lam Dong province) organized the payment of support to people affected by natural disasters and floods in the area, phase 2.
According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, the total support fund in the second phase for the communes and wards supported is nearly 38.7 billion VND, taken from the Provincial Relief Fund.

This funding source is to support people affected by floods and damage during the natural disaster that occurred in early December 2025, in which many localities in the downstream area of Song Quao lake were severely affected.
Regarding the support level, households that have to relocate due to flooding and landslides are supported with 5 million VND/household. In cases where houses have completely collapsed or were swept away by floodwaters, they are supported to rebuild at a rate of 80 million VND/house.
In addition, students from primary to high school who are studying at public and private schools, continuing education centers, and vocational education are supported with 500,000 VND/student, contributing to sharing difficulties and stabilizing their studies after natural disasters.
The support funds are transferred to the Relief Fund accounts of communes and wards according to the allocation list. Immediately after receiving the funding, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ham Thuan Bac commune implemented payment to the people, ensuring the right beneficiaries, at the right level, publicly and promptly.

In Ham Thuan Bac commune, there are 1,165 households and cases supported according to the above 3 levels, with a total cost of more than 4.3 billion VND.
The payment was made directly to the people, helping households to soon have conditions to overcome the damage, stabilize their lives and activities.
According to the list of second round of support funding allocations of the province, Ham Thang ward is the locality that receives the most support. This is considered the "flood center" in the serious flood that occurred on December 4, 2025. The whole ward has 5,459 cases supported, with a total cost of more than 23.3 billion VND.
The second support payment continues to demonstrate the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front system in mobilizing and allocating relief resources, contributing to helping people in flooded areas gradually overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
