Giving bicycles to children of workers in Khanh Hoa

On September 17, at Suoi Dau Industrial Park, Cam Lam Commune, Khanh Hoa Province, Khanh Hoa Industrial Park Trade Union Board coordinated with Khatoco Packaging Joint Stock Company to organize a program to give bicycles and notebooks "Supporting to school" to children of workers in difficult circumstances.

At the program, 5 bicycles (worth 2 million VND/bike) and 20 notebooks were presented to students who are children of workers who have overcome difficulties and studied well.

In addition, the company also supports 3,000 more notebooks for children of workers in difficult circumstances working in industrial parks in the province.

Mr. Nguyen Nhat Anh - Deputy Director of Khatoco Packaging Joint Stock Company shared that with the tradition of mutual love, over the years the unit has regularly accompanied trade unions at all levels and localities in supporting children of workers in difficulty.

These gifts not only support children going to school but also contribute to sharing the cost burden for workers' families when entering the new school year.

Among the cases supported is Ms. Cao Thi Hoang Dung - a worker at Gallant Ocean Vietnam Joint Stock Company. Her husband died early, she raised two young children and her elderly mother alone.

Ms. Dung's daughter is currently in grade 3 at Khanh Phu Primary School, and has to walk 15 minutes to school every day.

"It was sunny and rainy, and I walked to class all the time. When they heard the news of receiving the bicycle, the mother and child have been happy for the past few days. The car will help my child go to school more conveniently, I am somewhat assured" - Ms. Dung said emotionally.
