Handing over public housing and gifts to teachers and students in Y Ty commune

On September 30, a working group of Hue University presented official housing and gifts to teachers and students at A Lu Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities in Y Ty commune, Lao Cai.

Associate Professor. Dr. Nguyen Duan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Education Trade Union, Chairman of the Hue University Trade Union, said that after traveling more than 1,000km (both air and road), especially more than 80km of rugged and landslide road after storm No. 3 in 2024 and storm No. 10 in 2025 that just occurred; the working group of Hue University visited A Lu Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Y Ty commune, Lao Cai province.

Here, on behalf of the Hue University Trade Union, Associate Professor. Dr. Nguyen Duan handed over the officialdom and presented gifts to teachers and students of the school. Of which, the public housing project is worth 400 million VND; gifts for teachers and students of the school are worth 50 million VND.

"Going and directly feeling the difficulties of teachers and students in mountainous areas with difficulties, we feel sympathy and want to share more. Today's gift shows the import of Hue University, and is also a source of encouragement for students and teachers in mountainous areas, said Associate Professor. Dr. Nguyen Duan said.
