Workers join hands to donate to care for policy families during Tet
Quang Tri - On the occasion of Binh Ngo Tet 2026, workers of Quang Tri Hydropower Company join hands to donate and care for policy families.
On February 14, Quang Tri Hydropower Company (TĐQT) said that the unit had just organized incense offering at Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery, Road 9 National Martyrs' Cemetery and Khe Sanh Martyrs' Cemetery. The delegation was led by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung - Director of the Company, along with the Board of Directors and officials and employees participating.
The activity expresses gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland; and at the same time contributes to educating revolutionary traditions and raising the sense of social responsibility for the working class.
In parallel with the memorial activity, company leaders and trade union representatives visited and presented 30 gifts to families affected by Agent Orange in Hieu Giang commune. Each gift included 10kg of rice and 500,000 VND in cash, contributing to sharing difficulties and encouraging families to rise up and stabilize their lives.
Previously, on January 25, the Company continued to accompany the "Border Spring - Warming People's Hearts" Program in Huong Lap commune, Quang Tri province. Here, the unit presented 30 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND, to policy families and poor students overcoming difficulties, contributing to helping people in border areas celebrate Spring and welcome Tet in a warm and meaningful atmosphere.
Continuing social security activities, on January 29, Mr. Doan Thanh Diem - Deputy Director of the Company participated in the "Joining Hands of Compassion" Program organized by Quang Tri province, donating 20 million VND to support the poor and difficult circumstances in the area. The funding is contributed by the collective of officials and employees of the Company.
