Union members, workers, and people of Kim Lien ward support people in flooded areas
Hanoi - More than 1.4 billion VND is the amount of money donated by cadres, union members, workers and people of Kim Lien ward to support people in flood-affected areas.
Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kim Lien Ward, in recent days, all levels of the Trade Union, agencies, units, and enterprises in the ward have actively launched a fundraising campaign to support people in flood-affected areas with the spirit of "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves".
With its humanitarian significance, the movement received enthusiastic response from a large number of cadres, union members, workers and people in the ward. The total amount of donations is 1,425,855,000 VND.
The entire amount of money has been transferred by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Kim Lien Ward to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, to send to people in localities heavily affected by storms and floods, contributing to supporting people to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
