Dong Nai workers donate 700 million VND to support people affected by storms and floods

On October 28, the Trade Union of TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, Tran Bien Ward, Dong Nai Province) said that it had coordinated with the Red Cross Society of Dong Nai Province to donate 700 million VND from donations and support from officers, employees and the Board of Directors of TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company, to support people affected by storms No. 10 and No. 11.

Accordingly, the delegation visited and presented support money to environmental sanitation workers, union members, and workers who suffered heavy damage due to the impact of storms No. 10 and No. 11 in Ha Tinh province.

The delegation also visited and presented 100 gifts (each gift worth 1 million VND) to disabled students and students in difficult circumstances at Thanh Sen High School (Tran Phu Ward, Ha Tinh Province) and Binh An Thinh Secondary School (Loc Ha Commune, Ha Tinh Province).

The delegation visited and expressed gratitude to the Heroes of the People's Armed Forces and Heroic Mothers of Vietnam in Ha Tinh province.

Mr. Dinh Sy Phuc - Chairman of the Trade Union of TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company said that this is a journey to share the love of workers working in Dong Nai province and the Trade Union is a valuable representative of the affection that all workers and laborers sent to the people.

Right after the company's grassroots union launched the campaign with the spirit of "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", "mutual love", workers unanimously and voluntarily contributed and created a great spread to support people affected by the storm.

TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company specializes in exporting sports shoes with about 34,000 employees.

The total amount of money that the Trade Union of TKG Taekwang Vina Joint Stock Company launched to donate to all employees of the company this time is 2 billion VND.
