Ward union in Da Nang organizes a loving Mid-Autumn Festival for unfortunate children
On October 3, the People's Committee of Ngu Hanh Son Ward, Da Nang, said that the unit had just organized a Mid-Autumn Festival and presented gifts to children in special circumstances.
The program brought a warm atmosphere to Ms. Hang and Uncle Cuoi, lion dance, dragon dance and gave 120 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND with moon cakes.
Previously, leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward visited and presented gifts to children with serious illnesses at the Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital; facilities for raising orphans and children with disabilities. On this occasion, the ward spent nearly 200 million VND to support seriously ill, orphaned, and disadvantaged children; at the same time, visited, encouraged the family and acknowledged the efforts of care centers and vocational training for unfortunate children.
The ward leaders expressed their desire to add determination and optimism to the children, so that they can overcome difficulties and study well. This is an annual program, demonstrating the sharing and kindness of the locality, helping unfortunate children to celebrate the full and warm Mid-Autumn Festival.
