Da Nang Labor Union presents 3,200 gifts to children of union members and workers

News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on September 29 said that, implementing the 2025 Work Program, the Standing Committee of the City Labor Federation will organize a Mid-Autumn Festival for children in difficult circumstances who are children of union members and workers in 2025.

Children receiving gifts are aged 5-15, children of union members and workers working at all levels of the City Trade Union, in one of the following circumstances: Children with disabilities, serious illnesses; children orphaned by father or mother; children whose father or mother has a work accident or serious illness; children from union members' families and workers in difficult circumstances.

The City Labor Federation will give 3,200 gifts to children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the city. Each gift is worth VND300,000 in cash and gifts (VND150,000 in cash and VND150,000 in gifts) with a total cost of VND960 million.

These gifts were distributed to commune, ward, grassroots trade unions, and grassroots trade unions under the City Labor Federation.

On this occasion, the Da Nang City Labor Federation will organize 2 "Full Moon Festival Nights", each location will organize a festival night inviting 300 children to attend, participate in activities and receive gifts at the City Labor Culture House (evening of October 2) and at Ban Thach Ward, Da Nang City (evening of October 3).

At the "Full Moon Festival Night", union members will watch special performances, magics, lion dances and break the feast together.

Through the activities, the City Labor Federation hopes to care for, share difficulties and encourage children in difficult circumstances who are children of union members and workers on the occasion of the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival, helping them have more joy and motivation to strive and make efforts to practice.

At the same time, through that, propagate and raise awareness and responsibility of Trade Unions, union members, and workers at all levels towards family and children's work, ensuring the implementation of children's rights; promote child care, protection and education; join hands to improve the living environment for children, creating opportunities for children to live in a safe, healthy environment and develop comprehensively.

On this occasion, the City Labor Union at all levels combined the number of gifts allocated by the City Labor Federation and resources at the unit to coordinate the organization of the Mid-Autumn Festival program, giving gifts to children of union members and workers with many practical activities.
