Trade union supports lighting 9 km of village roads in Lang Son
Lang Son - The Village Road Lighting project in Hoang Van Thu commune has just been inaugurated with the support of the Trade Union.
On February 2nd, the Labor Federation of Lang Son province coordinated with the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoang Van Thu commune to inaugurate and hand over the project "Lighting up village roads" in two villages of Coc Man and Na Phieng.
The project will be implemented from October 2025, with the active participation of local people.
People in the two villages donated land, created ground, arranged locations for installing light poles; contributed 6 working days with 42 turns of people directly transporting materials, erecting poles and installing lighting systems.

People also commit to managing, protecting and maintaining the project to operate sustainably.
The project has a total length of 9 km, including 40 solar light bulbs installed along village roads.
The total implementation cost is over 80 million VND, of which the Provincial Labor Federation supports 70 million VND from the Social Fund, and the rest is socialized by the locality.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Be Van Kien - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Central Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoang Van Thu commune shared that the project contributes to ensuring security and order, traffic safety; improving people's living conditions.
At the same time, it shows the role of the Trade Union organization in implementing socio-economic development goals and building new rural areas.
Previously, at the end of January 2026, the Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with Chi Lang Border Guard Station and Khuat Xa Commune People's Committee to hand over the project "Lighting up village roads" in Khuat Xa commune with 20 solar light bulbs, total length 800 m.
The works are built to celebrate the 14th Party Congress, Trade Union Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; towards the Vietnam Trade Union Congress for the 2026-2031 term and the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term, People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
