Da Nang Labor Union joins hands to support Vietnamese Heroic Mothers

There is no reason to hesitate

In the first days of 2026, the Trade Union of Da Nang International Station Investment and Exploitation Joint Stock Company (AHT) organized a visit, presented gifts and officially received lifelong care for 5 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in the city. Not stopping at AHT, the " grateful response" movement continues to spread to many other units. Recently, representatives of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the Son Tra Medical Center region visited, presented gifts and officially received lifelong care from Vietnamese Heroic Mother Vo Thi Pham. Vo Thi Pham's mother, born in 1939, residing in Quang Phuong block, Dien Ban Bac ward, experienced great losses during the war. Her husband was martyr Le Ngoc Diem, daughter was martyr Le Thi Tra - two brothers who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. Those silent but great contributions have been recognized by the Party and State with the title of Heroic Vietnamese Mother. During the visit, in addition to the support gifts, the members of the group spent a lot of time talking, listening and encouraging the mother and her family. For those working in health care, receiving care for the Mother is considered a natural continuation of the spirit of caring and sharing associated with the daily profession.

In the same spirit, the Trade Union of Thuan Phuoc Seafood and Trading Joint Stock Company is currently receiving lifelong care for Vietnamese Heroic Mother Thai Thi Dau, born in 1925, residing in Cam Long village, Tay Ho commune. Her mother has a husband, martyr Tran Em, and a child, martyr Tran Luong - who have always rested for peace today. Mr. Truong Van Quang - Chairman of the Trade Union of Thuan Phuoc Seafood and Trading Joint Stock Company said that receiving Mother's Supper is an activity that the unit unified in the spirit of responding to the launch of the Da Nang City Labor Federation. We do not consider this a simple support activity, but a long-term gratitude for the sacrifices of the mother and family for the country, said Mr. Quang. According to statistics from the Da Nang City Labor Federation, the whole city currently has 299 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers who are still alive; among them, there are still Mothers who have not received benefits or have low support levels. From this reality, the Da Nang City Labor Federation has widely launched among grassroots unions to register to receive care for mothers. Up to this point, 38 grassroots trade unions have registered to receive support for 44 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, with a support level of 1 - 1.5 million VND/month.
