The Trade Union of Phuong Dong College receives support for Vietnamese Heroic Mothers

News from the Da Nang City Labor Federation on January 21 said: implementing the Party and State's policies and guidelines on caring for and supporting Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; responding to the launch of the City Labor Federation and the Hoa Cuong Ward Trade Union, the Phuong Dong Da Nang College Trade Union has registered and been approved by the Department of Home Affairs of Da Nang City to support Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Nhi, since January 2026.

Heroic Vietnamese mother Nguyen Thi Nhi, born in 1932, currently resides in village 2, Dai Loc commune. The mother was awarded the title of Heroic Vietnamese Mother by the State on June 5, 2014.

Her mother's family made many great contributions and sacrifices to the revolutionary cause: her husband was martyr Nguyen Nhi, and a child was martyr Nguyen Huu Long.

According to the registration, the Trade Union of Phuong Dong Da Nang College cares for the Mother at a rate of 1,000,000 VND/month, to contribute to taking care of her material and spiritual life, demonstrating the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source - servant the gratitude" for the noble sacrifices of the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.

This is an activity of profound political and social significance, demonstrating the responsibility, affection and gratitude of the staff, lecturers and employees of Phuong Dong Da Nang College for families with meritorious services to the revolution; at the same time, contributing to educating the tradition of patriotism and gratitude to the younger generation of the school.

The Trade Union of Phuong Dong Da Nang College is committed to closely coordinating with local authorities in the process of caring for, visiting and caring for Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Nhi in accordance with regulations.
