Dien Bien Provincial Police Union presents gifts to families affected by floods

The Dien Bien Provincial Police Union has just organized many activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).

Accordingly, the Provincial Police Union coordinated with the authorities, police of communes, units, organizations, and philanthropists to carry out many meaningful activities, visit, encourage, and give gifts to families affected by natural disasters, and express condolences to families with deceased relatives.

Coordinating with the "Green Steps" group, the Party Committee, Government and Police of Na Son and Tia Dinh communes presented 55 million VND in cash to households with people who died and had their houses completely collapsed, 180 gifts (including rice, necessities) and 200 medicine to people in the city affected by floods. The total value is more than 100 million VND.

Coordinated with Xa Dung commune police, Dong Tam charity group, the Mobile Police Department - Hanoi City Police and units, benefactors, and philanthropists to present 250 gifts (including rice and necessities) to people in the villages of Na Nguu, Trong Su A, Tu Xa B, Co De, Hang Tra, Vu Sinh A, Vu Sinh B in Xa Dung commune.

Giving gifts of 3 million VND in cash to the representative of the family of Mr. Vang A Na and Ms. Sung Thi Ly, residing in Xa Dung commune, a family with 3 young children buried in soil after the flood. Giving 10 gifts, each worth VND500,000 in cash to 10 comrades participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level affected by floods. Total value: Over 108 million VND.
