The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor supports people affected by storm No. 10
On the afternoon of October 2, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor held a launching ceremony to support people affected by storm No. 10.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) said that in recent days, storm No. 10 (Bualoi) has caused great damage to people and property. Among the affected subjects, there is a group of union members and workers.
With the spirit of mutual love and support, on behalf of the leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, under the direction of the Head of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu called on all cadres and employees in the agency and unit under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to donate to support people affected by storm No. 10.
With my heart, the material and spiritual support, big or small, is very valuable at this time to add spiritual strength, helping people overcome harsh natural disasters, said Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu.
After Mr. Ngo Duy Hieu's launch, cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and units under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor donated 372,650,000 VND, adding strength to help people in flood-affected areas overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
