"Zero-dong kitchen" supports people in Lao Cai flood area
Lao Cai - On the morning of October 1, the Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union coordinated with the Son Thinh Market Trade Union to organize a "Zero-VND Kitchen" for people in flooded areas.
Ms. Vuong Thi Anh - Chairwoman of Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union shared: In recent days, there has been heavy rain and flash floods in the area, seriously affecting people's lives.
In order to share with people in flooded areas, on October 1, "Zero-VND Kitchen" will cook 1,000 nutritious meals including meat, beans, peanuts, vegetables, etc.
That same morning, the group directly brought the rice to the Nam Cuong intersection and the beginning of Bach Lam bridge (old Yen Bai city), where many households were deeply flooded and their lives were still facing many difficulties.






Along with the rice cooking activities, the organizing committee also received rice and necessities donated by organizations and individuals.
The zero-dong kitchen will continue to accompany and share with people in flooded areas until they overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives, said Ms. Vuong Thi Anh.
Yesterday (September 30), the Nghia Lo Ward Trade Union coordinated with the Son Thinh Market Trade Union to visit, encourage and give necessities to union members who suffered heavy losses after storm No. 10.
