Lao Cai Trade Union presents fertilizer support and Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to people and children in mountainous areas
Lao Cai - On September 6, the Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated to organize a program to give gifts to support people and children in difficult circumstances in Mu Cang Chai and Pung Luong communes.
The program was attended by Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat - Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor, leaders of professional departments; leaders of Industrial Parks Trade Union; representatives of accompanying enterprises such as Nam Thanh Environment and Energy Joint Stock Company, Thang Long Bac Ninh Agricultural and Forestry Processing Company Limited, and local leaders and people.
At the program, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with Nam Thanh Environment and Energy Joint Stock Company to donate 30 tons of fertilizer (total value of nearly 100 million VND) to people in Mu Cang Chai and Pung Luong communes.
This is a practical activity to support people in a timely manner to serve agricultural production, contributing to improving crop productivity, improving life and developing the family economy.
In addition, the working group also coordinated with Thang Long Bac Ninh Agricultural and Forestry Processing Company Limited to present 200 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to students in difficult circumstances studying at Pung Luong Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.
Each gift of cakes and candy brings joy, warmth and encouragement to students to strive to study, welcoming a complete and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival.
At the gift-giving ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat shared that this is a practical activity, demonstrating the social responsibility and mutual love of the trade union organization and accompanying enterprises.
The Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor hopes that the people will continue to unite, overcome difficulties, and actively work and produce; at the same time, he requested that trade unions at all levels in the province continue to mobilize resources, call for the participation of businesses, organizations, and individuals to carry out many activities to support and care for union members and workers, especially people in mountainous areas and areas with special difficulties.
