Over 350 workers donate blood to celebrate Workers' Month 2025
Tra Vinh - Over 350 units of blood were donated by workers, this meaningful event is part of a series of activities in response to Workers' Month in 2025.
On May 7, the Provincial Federation of Labor (PFF) and the Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with Can Tho Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital to organize voluntary blood donation in 2025.
The voluntary blood donation ceremony attracted over 350 union members who are officials, civil servants, public employees, and workers of trade unions under the Provincial Federation of Labor to register to participate.
After screening, the functional unit received over 350 units of blood, which is a valuable reserve source, contributing to the health sector in overcoming anemia in emergency care and patient treatment.
This is a meaningful activity that contributes to raising awareness of cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members, youth and people in the area about volunteer activities in general and blood donation volunteer in particular.
To date, Can Tho City Hematology and Blood Transfusion Hospital has received nearly 300 units of blood from people in Tra Vinh province, with the message "A drop of blood given - A life left behind".
