Giving many meaningful gifts during the Workers' Month of Yen Bai Trade Union

With the theme "Vietnamese workers pioneering in entering a new era" and "Strengthening assessment, identification of risks and risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace", this year's Workers' Month, the Yen Bai Provincial Federation of Labor directs trade unions at all levels to carry out a number of key activities such as: Organizing the launching ceremony of Workers' Month and Month of action on occupational safety and hygiene (OSH); Program "Creative and confident workers entering a new era"...

Up to now, 4 grassroots trade unions have organized the launching ceremony of Workers' Month and the Month of Action on occupational safety and Health with many practical activities towards workers such as: Supporting funding for building a union Shelter; giving gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances; organizing the "Union Meal" Program...

Also in this year's workers' month, from the unit's budget and sponsors' mobilization, the Yen Bai Provincial Federation of Labor supported 546 gifts with an amount of 346 million VND and presented 41 Trade Union Shelters with an amount of 1.8 billion VND to union members and workers in difficult circumstances and union members who had work-related accidents.

Speaking at the ceremony, the leaders of the Yen Bai Provincial Federation of Labor requested that trade unions at all levels proactively advise the Party Committee, government, and employers to respond to the activities of the Workers' Month and the Month of Action on occupational Safety and Health in 2025 to ensure practicality and effectiveness.

Along with that, continue to promote the vivid visual propaganda work on activities during Workers' Month; strengthen coordination between departments, branches, agencies, units, and enterprises in activities to care for union members and employees.

Actively innovate the content and methods of trade union activities in accordance with reality. Call on each Trade Union to carry out at least one specific and practical work for employees thereby creating motivation, spreading the spirit of solidarity, innovation, creativity, promoting emulation in production labor, building harmonious, progressive and developing labor relations.

During the launching ceremony, representatives of Tuoi Tre Newspaper in Hanoi donated 500 million VND to support the construction of 10 Trade Union Shelters for workers and laborers in difficult circumstances, each house 50 million VND and presented 200 gifts, each worth 1 million VND to union members and laborers in Yen Bai province.

In addition, Ms. Vu Thi Hien Hanh, Vice Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee and leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor presented support to build 20 Trade Union Shelters with a total amount of 800 million VND from the "Yen Bai Provincial Trade Union Social Fund". The Hai Phong City Labor Federation supported the construction of 6 Trade Union Shelters, each house with an amount of 50 million VND.

Also here, 6 workers who had work-related accidents received a subsidy of 1 million VND each and a gift worth 300,000 VND from the "Yen Bai Provincial Trade Union Social Fund".

20 workers and laborers received gifts from the Provincial Federation of Labor, each worth 800,000 VND; 35 union members and laborers of the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union received gifts from the budget to mobilize readers of Tuoi Tre Newspaper.
