TKV launches Workers' Month, Labor Safety and Hygiene Month
Quang Ninh - On April 29, TKV held a launching ceremony for Workers' Month; Month of action on occupational safety and hygiene (OSH) in 2025.
The launching ceremony of Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month (OSH) in 2025 was held at the Production Management Area of Viet Bac Mining Chemical Industrial Company - MICCO, Quang Ninh province.
The launching ceremony was attended by representatives of central ministries and branches, leaders of Quang Ninh province, Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (TKV) and member units.
Workers' Month 2025 was launched with the theme: "Vietnamese workers enter a new era". The 2025 Road Safety and Health Action Month has the theme: "Strengthening assessment, identifying risks and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene at the workplace".
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Deputy General Director of TKV, emphasized: The Month of Action on occupational safety and health and Workers' Month is an opportunity for units across the Group to review, evaluate the current status of working conditions, identify and control risks and risks; Launch emulation movements to ensure production safety and improve labor productivity; demonstrate TKV's deep concern for the safety, health, rights and lives of workers.
The Deputy General Director of TKV also emphasized the proactive role of workers in ensuring occupational safety and hygiene, arousing the spirit of innovation, creativity and courage of the workforce in the context of digital transformation.
Within the framework of the program, representatives of MICCO Mining Chemical Industry Corporation and member companies in Quang Ninh region signed a commitment to compete in safe production in 2025.
Within the framework of the program, the Mining Rescue Center, MICCO Mining Chemical Industry Corporation and the Fire Police force of Quang Ninh province demonstrated fire prevention and fighting and rescue plans.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the leaders of the Group and local authorities visited, presented gifts and encouraged a number of workers and laborers.
