More Union Welfare Points at Export Processing Zones, Industrial Parks
HCMC - Union Welfare Point is an activity to concretize the policy of the union organization in improving the welfare and benefits for union members.
The "Union Welfare Point" at Linh Trung I Export Processing Zone, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City was opened by the Trade Union of Export Processing and Industrial Zones of Ho Chi Minh City in coordination with Thien Phap Trading and Service Joint Stock Company on the afternoon of May 6.
The union welfare point here will sell goods at preferential prices from 5% to 30% compared to the market, contributing to price stabilization, supporting workers to access essential goods at reasonable prices.
On this occasion, the organizing unit also presented 150 gifts, each worth VND 200,000, to union members working at Linh Trung I Export Processing Zone.
This is an activity within the framework of the "Welfare for union members" program, and has been contributing effectively to the work of caring for the lives of union members and workers in the Export Processing Zones - Industrial Parks of Ho Chi Minh City.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thai Thanh - Vice Chairman of Trade Union of Export Processing and Industrial Zones in Ho Chi Minh City - emphasized: The launch of the "Trade Union Welfare point" is one of the activities to concretize the policy of the Trade Union organization in improving welfare and benefits for union members. We believe that this model will contribute to creating a more stable and cohesive working environment between workers and trade unions at the grassroots level.
Mr. Thanh also suggested that Thien Phap Trading and Service Joint Stock Company promote the meaning of "Union Welfare Point", sell goods to ensure quality, food hygiene and safety, and at reasonable prices to serve union members and workers.
Linh Trung 1 Export Processing Zone currently has nearly 30,000 workers working in enterprises.
This is the second "Union Welfare Point" in export processing zones and industrial parks in Ho Chi Minh City jointly organized by the Trade Union of Export Processing Zones and Industrial Parks of Ho Chi Minh City to care for union members and workers.
