Another grassroots trade union established in Dong Thap
Dong Thap - On April 29, the Hong Ngu District Labor Federation held a ceremony to admit union members and establish the grassroots trade union of Gia Bao Hong Ngu Joint Stock Company.
Attending were Ms. Huynh Thi Thu Thuy - Permanent Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Labor Federation; Mr. Nguyen Tan Loc - Member of Standing Committee, Head of Organization - Inspection of Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Nguyen Huu Tien - Chairman of Hong Ngu District Labor Federation.
At the ceremony, the Hong Ngu District Labor Federation announced the Decision to admit 328 union members and the Decision to establish the Gia Bao Hong Ngu Joint Stock Company's Trade Union. Comrade Nguyen Kim Thuong was appointed to the position of Provisional Chairman of the grassroots trade union.
It is known that this is the second non-state enterprise union established in 2025 in the locality.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Tien - Chairman of Hong Ngu District Labor Federation - hope that the Executive Committee of the Community College is closely coordinated with the business owner to well perform the tasks of the Trade Union organization, in order to protect the legitimate rights and interests for union members and workers to accompany businesses to help the company develop production stable production.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Trade Union Nguyen Kim Thuong promised to try his best with the Executive Committee and the union members and workers in the company to successfully complete the assigned tasks, worthy of being a solid support for union members and workers.
On this occasion, the Hong Ngu District Labor Federation presented gifts to union members of Gia Bao Hong Ngu Joint Stock Company. 26 union members with serious illnesses were presented with gifts by the Provincial Federation of Labor, each gift worth 1 million VND. The activity is in response to Workers' Month, Labor Safety and Hygiene Month in 2025.
