Labor Safety and Hygiene Training in Can Tho

The training session aims to raise awareness and responsibility of workers for occupational safety and hygiene; promote activities to improve working conditions and labor safety at the workplace, towards building and developing a "Safe Culture", contributing to ensuring sustainable socio-economic development.

Propagate and guide the implementation of documents, Decrees and Directives of the Prime Minister on strengthening the direction of good implementation of occupational safety and hygiene in the new situation.

Create conditions for grassroots union officials to meet, exchange, learn, and share experiences in occupational safety and hygiene.

The training participants are the Executive Board of the Trade Union of Can Tho Export Processing and Industrial Zones; Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of the affiliated grassroots Trade Unions; Officers in charge of occupational safety and hygiene, and occupational safety and hygiene networks of units and enterprises.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Kieu - Chairwoman of the Trade Union of Can Tho Export Processing and Industrial Zones informed that during the training period, the trainees frankly discussed unclear issues and limitations and shortcomings in their practical activities.

The reporters received opinions and answered problems to create favorable conditions for students in implementing occupational safety and hygiene work.
