Nha Trang launches Workers' Month, each Trade Union has an activity for union members

On April 22, at the Nha Trang Sports Training and Competition Center, the Nha Trang City Labor Federation (Khanh Hoa Province) held a launching ceremony for Workers' Month 2025.

Mr. Ngo Anh Duyet - Chairman of Nha Trang City Labor Federation - said: Nha Trang currently has 470 grassroots trade unions (CDCS) with 27,672 union members, the whole city has 43,363 workers.

Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month in 2025 are held in the atmosphere of the entire Party, people, and army, enthusiastically competing to achieve achievements to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and commemorate International Labor Day 1.5 - a major festival of the working class and people around the world.

With the theme "Vietnamese workers pioneered the new era," Nha Trang Labor Federation determined that this is an important occasion to promote the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in taking care of and protecting the legitimate and legitimate rights and interests of workers. At the same time, it is an opportunity to honor the great contributions of workers, officials and workers in the cause of national construction and defense.

At the launching ceremony, Mr. Ngo Anh Duyet called on the grassroots trade unions and all union members and workers in Nha Trang city to effectively implement the activities of Workers' Month in 2025 with practical content, suitable to the conditions of each facility. Each grassroots trade union needs to proactively carry out at least one specific task to care for union members' welfare during the workers' month.

Coordinate with employers to organize the program "Thank you to employees" and the program "Union Meal" to show gratitude and reward outstanding employees.

Organize cultural, artistic, sports activities, seminars and dialogues at the grassroots level associated with the theme of Workers' Month - Month of action on occupational safety and hygiene; continue to effectively implement the movement "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene", strengthen the activities of the occupational safety and hygiene network at the grassroots level.

During May - Workers' Month, Nha Trang City Labor Federation continued to promote propaganda and mobilization to develop union members and establish grassroots unions, especially in non-state enterprises and informal labor areas.

At the same time, organize activities to visit and support workers in difficult circumstances, contributing to spreading the concern and sharing of the Trade Union organization, arousing the spirit of volunteerism and attachment to the Trade Union organization among workers.

“The goal set in the 2025 working month is through activities, promoting widespread propaganda among union members and workers about the Party's guidelines and resolutions, the State's legal policies, especially the Party's XIII Congress Resolution, Resolution No. 02-NQ/TW of the Politburo, Resolution of the XIII Congress of Vietnam Trade Union;

At the same time, it will strengthen practical care activities for workers, contributing to strengthening the trust and attachment between workers and the Trade Union organization" - Mr. Duyet emphasized.

On this occasion, Nha Trang City Labor Federation presented 50 gifts, each worth VND500,000, to support 50 union members in difficult circumstances from school unions to promptly encourage union members.
