Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation plans to plant 1,000 new macadamia trees
Dien Bien - On May 11, the Provincial Federation of Labor (PFF) held a tree planting launching ceremony to respond to Workers' Month 2025 in Muong Thin commune, Tuan Giao district.
The launching ceremony was attended by Ms. Lau Thi Thanh Huong - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor; representatives of Tuan Giao district leaders and 150 union members, civil servants, and workers of the district.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Lau Thi Thanh Huong emphasized: Tree planting Tet is not only a symbolic activity to commemorate the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh but also a practical action, contributing positively to improving the ecological environment, reducing natural disasters and responding to climate change.
This is also an opportunity for each cadre, union member, and worker to demonstrate their responsibility to the community and join hands to build an increasingly green - clean - beautiful, sustainable development locality".
On this occasion, Ms. Lau Thi Thanh Huong presented 10 gifts to union members in difficult circumstances on the occasion of Workers' Month in 2025 with a total amount of 7 million VND; presented gifts to 4 households in difficult circumstances in the commune with a total amount of 2 million VND.
After the launching ceremony, delegates and 150 union members and employees of Tuan Giao district took action to plant 1,000 macadamia trees for 4 households in difficult circumstances in Muong Thin commune, Tuan Giao district.
