Dien Bien Provincial Federation of Labor presents 40 gifts to poor households in border districts

On May 6, the Dien Bien Provincial Federation of Labor organized a gift-giving program to support poor households in Sen Thuong commune, Muong Nhe district. This is a practical and meaningful activity in a series of activities for Workers' Month 2025 launched by the trade union organization to spread the spirit of humanity, "the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves".

At the program, Mr. Tan Minh Long - Chairman of the Dien Bien Provincial Federation of Labor presented 40 gifts to poor households and families in especially difficult circumstances. Each gift is worth 500,000 VND, with a total amount of 20 million VND from the support fund of the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor.

Mr. Tan Minh Long said: Sen Thuong is one of the remote and border communes of Dien Bien province, where people's lives are still difficult.

Through this activity, the trade union organization hopes to show the concern and sharing of the team of union officials and union members to the poor, contributing to supporting people to stabilize their lives and escape poverty sustainably.

At the same time, this is also an opportunity for the trade union to accompany the locality in social security work".
