Cao Bang Provincial Federation of Labor solicits opinions on the draft revised Constitution in 2013
Cao Bang - The Provincial Federation of Labor organized a public consultation on the draft resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Vietnamese Constitution in 2023.
On May 16, the Cao Bang Provincial Federation of Labor (CFF) informed that the unit had just held a conference to disseminate and collect comments on the draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.
The conference took place in a face-to-face format combined with online at 12 locations in districts and cities, with about 800 delegates attending.
At the conference, the leaders of the provincial Labor Federation introduced the main content of the draft amendment of the Constitution and related laws such as the Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Trade Union Law, the Youth Law, the Law on Execution of the grassroots level; At the same time, information about the organization of trade union organizations in the near future.
The 2013 Constitution, after more than 10 years of implementation, clearly demonstrated its fundamental role in the country's political and legal life. However, in the face of the need for international integration and the building of a socialist rule-of-law state, amending and supplementing the Constitution is necessary.
The Provincial Federation of Labor has directed the collection of opinions to be implemented by 100% of grassroots unions, through many forms such as text, email, social networks and union information portals. The comments of union members and workers will be compiled and sent to competent authorities.
At the conference, many delegates focused on discussing contents related to civil rights and obligations; workers' rights; the role of trade unions in labor relations and international integration.
The conference demonstrated the democratic spirit and responsibility of the trade union organization in giving comments on perfecting the Constitution and legal system, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers in the new situation.
