More than 100 union members of Dien Bien province attended the Union Rice Meal

On the evening of May 15, the Dien Bien Provincial Civil Servants' Union coordinated with Hoa Ba Education, Trade and Service Company Limited to organize the program "Thank you to workers" in 2025.

This is a meaningful and practical activity towards celebrating the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth, welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels; responding to the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health and Workers' Month in 2025 with the theme "Vietnamese Workers Pioneer in Entering a New Era".

More than 100 union members and workers at Hoa Ba Education, Trade and Service Company Limited had memorable moments, interacting and sharing together at the "Union Meal".

Each meal is worth 90,000 VND, an increase of 55,000 VND compared to the daily shift meal and is supplemented with many delicious, nutritious dishes such as meat, fish, green vegetables, fruits, ensuring food hygiene and safety.

The funding for this event comes from the support of the company and the superior Trade Union. In particular, the dishes are all prepared by the company's workers.

At the program, Mr. Nguyen Chi Ba - Director of Hoa Ba Education and Trade Services Company Limited also expressed his gratitude to all employees for their persistent attachment, companionship and tireless dedication to the company's development over the past time.

Towards the grassroots

Ms. Tran Thi Thu Hang - Chairwoman of the Dien Bien Provincial Civil Servants' Union said that in recent years, the Union at all levels has always paid attention to and cared for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers. Organize many meaningful and practical activities, aiming at the grassroots.

At the same time, grassroots trade unions have coordinated with the government and business directors to organize many activities to care for, visit, and give gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, those with serious illnesses, and those who have had work-related accidents...

According to Ms. Hang, from the beginning of 2025 to now, the provincial Civil Servants' Union at all levels has paid support for the Lunar New Year with an amount of over 5 billion VND; awarded support to build 3 "Great Solidarity" houses, 1 boarding house, 2 boarding kitchens and hundreds of gifts to workers in difficult circumstances with a total value of over 1 billion VND.

On this occasion, the Provincial Civil Servants' Union presented 25 gifts, each worth VND500,000, to 25 union members and workers in difficult circumstances and individuals with many outstanding initiatives and achievements in production.

In addition, the Trade Union of Hoa Ba Education and Trade Services Company Limited was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for its outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene" in 2024.
