Hau Giang launches the Long Phu Commune Militia and Self-Defense Union

The activity is part of the coordination plan between the Labor Federation (LDLD) and the Military Command of Long My town in developing union members and establishing a grassroots militia union.

The purpose of propagating and mobilizing grassroots militia and self -defense militia to participate in trade unions, creating conditions for establishing a militia and self -defense union at the grassroots level; coordinate with other units and forces in the area to propagate and mobilize people to implement the Party's guidelines and views, the State's policies and laws on national defense and security; participate in building localities, strong and comprehensive establishments, implementing social policies; participate in building a national defense, performing the task of preventing and overcoming the consequences of disaster, incidents, natural disasters, epidemics, fire and explosion; search and rescue; environmental protection; participate in building a strong and comprehensive basis, contributing to building and developing socio -economic development in the locality.

At the same time, effectively represent, protect and care for union members; improve the quality of grassroots union activities in the whole town's union system.

To effectively implement this, the Long My Town Labor Federation has developed a plan to coordinate with the Town Military Command on developing union members and establishing a grassroots Militia and Self-Defense Union; providing detailed instructions on procedures for establishing unions and developing union members.

The Town Military Command directs military agencies of communes and wards to mobilize cadres and soldiers in the Militia and Self-Defense Forces to participate and establish grassroots Militia and Self-Defense Trade Unions; actively participate in local union activities.
