Nearly 300 athletes participate in the sports tournament for employees in Duong Kinh district, Hai Phong
Hai Phong - On the morning of May 17, the Labor Federation of Duong Kinh District (Hai Phong) organized a pickleball competition to support employees.
The program has the participation of nearly 300 athletes representing more than 16,000 employees in Duong Kinh district. Of which, the men's and women's relay race attracted 32 teams, the pickleball tournament had 10 pairs competing.
Mr. Nguyen Huy Thang - Chairman of the Duong Kinh District Labor Federation said that the sports tournament is a practical activity towards celebrating the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, responding to Workers' Month 2025 with the theme "Healthy Hai Phong Workers - Pioneers entering a new era".
Along with this activity, during Workers' Month, Duong Kinh District Trade Unions at all levels will carry out many activities to improve the material and spiritual life of employees such as launching employees of agencies, units, and schools to participate in mid-hour exercise; visiting and subsidizing employees in difficult circumstances; providing free health check-ups and consultations for union members and employees... Cultural and sports activities are implemented in most grassroots trade unions, attracting a large number of employees to participate and respond.
