Electricity industry trade union takes care of workers during Workers' Month

Recently, the Trade Union of the Northern Power Corporation (EVNNPC) and the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) have organized many practical activities during the Workers' Month and the Labor Safety and Hygiene Month in 2025; focusing on taking care of the lives and encouraging the spirit of workers, especially in remote and isolated units with difficult conditions.

In particular, the EVNNPC Trade Union working delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong - Vice Chairman of the Corporation's Trade Union - visited and encouraged union members and workers at Nguyen Binh Power Company and Bao Lac Power Company (Cao Bang). These are two units in the highlands, with difficult infrastructure and having suffered heavy damage due to Typhoon Yagi in 2024.

At the meeting, the EVNNPC Corporation Trade Union presented each unit with a gift worth 22 million VND, to support and share difficulties, and at the same time praised the efforts of the officers and employees here in ensuring continuous and safe power supply for people in border areas.

The program is one of many typical activities of EVNNPC in Workers' Month 2025, contributing to strengthening the connection between the Trade Union organization and workers, demonstrating the spirit of sharing, accompanying and arousing professional pride among the electricity industry workers.

Continuing the series of activities, recently, the EVNCPC Trade Union working delegation led by Mr. Hoang Le Giang - Member of the Standing Committee of the EVNCPC Corporation Trade Union - visited and worked with A Luoi Power Company (under Thua Thien Hue Power Company).

Here, the delegation grasped the production and business situation, employment, income, workers' lives as well as trade union activities in the first 4 months of the year. At the same time, a gift worth 28 million VND was presented, including direct support for 2 individuals in difficult circumstances.

The representative of EVNCPC Trade Union highly appreciated the spirit of overcoming difficulties and proactively coordinating between the trade union and the grassroots sector, and at the same time proposed to continue promoting practical care programs associated with the theme of 2025.

Speaking at the meeting, a representative of the Hue Power Company Trade Union said that the unit is implementing many meaningful programs such as "Creative workers, confidently entering the new era", "May Dialogue", visiting workers at the scene in harsh weather and proposing to reward outstanding collectives and individuals.

Through specific activities, the Electricity Trade Union not only spreads the spirit of "Thank you to workers", but is also a great source of encouragement to help union members and workers strive to overcome difficulties, work creatively, and contribute to the completion of all assigned targets and tasks.
