Tay Ninh Economic Zone Trade Union launches Workers' Month 2025

The launching ceremony was attended by Mr. Trinh Van Phuoc, Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor, along with representatives of agencies, departments, localities, enterprises and nearly 600 union members and workers.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairwoman of the Tay Ninh Economic Zone Trade Union Nguyen Thi Kim Lien said that the Economic Zone Trade Union has developed a plan to orient the grassroots trade union to coordinate with enterprises to implement programs during Workers' Month such as: Creative workers, firmly entering the new era; thanking workers; caring for, supporting, showing gratitude to workers (visiting, giving gifts, giving shopping vouchers); commending workers for their efforts to overcome difficulties, outstanding workers, cultural and sports activities, organizing "Union Meals"...

At the same time, continue to implement the emulation movement "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and health" practically, effectively, in line with the new situation; pay attention to building a culture of labor safety at the workplace; ensure occupational safety and hygiene associated with environmental protection.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented 3 "Union Shelter" symbolic signs to union members in difficult circumstances worth 80 million VND/house to support and help workers have the conditions to rebuild and repair their houses and stabilize their lives.

The Organizing Committee also presented 200 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, those with occupational accidents and serious illnesses with each gift worth 800,000 VND (cash worth 600,000 VND and a gift worth 200,000 VND/gift).

Workers' Month is an occasion for trade unions at all levels to demonstrate their role in caring for and protecting the rights of workers. Giving gifts is not only a material support, but also a great source of spiritual encouragement for workers and laborers", said Chairwoman of the Tay Ninh Economic Zone Trade Union Nguyen Thi Kim Lien.
