Trade unions support workers in work-related accidents
Hanoi Son Tay Town Labor Federation presented support to workers who have had work accidents, occupational diseases, or died from serious illnesses.
Accordingly, on the occasion of Workers' Month and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene, the Son Tay Town Labor Federation visited and presented emergency allowances to workers, families of workers, civil servants, and laborers who had work accidents, occupational diseases, or died from serious illnesses.
The Town Labor Federation has presented 13 gifts from the Hanoi City Labor Federation to workers who have had work accidents and occupational diseases with a total value of over 16 million VND; presented 4 special allowances for difficulties of the City and Town Labor Federation to workers, families of workers and civil servants, each gift including 4 million VND in cash and gift bags...
This activity of the Town Labor Federation clearly demonstrated the role of the Trade Union organization for union members and workers, especially in the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Health. Thereby contributing to encouraging workers and their families to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
Along with that, the Town Labor Federation also expressed its desire for businesses to care for and look after workers and laborers. This includes investment in equipment and labor protection to ensure occupational safety and hygiene, preventing risks and risks of occupational accidents, etc.
