Trade Union encourages workers to construct the Vung Ang 220kV Transformer Station Project
On the occasion of Workers' Month, the Trade Union of the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) visited workers constructing the Vung Ang 220kV Transformer Station Project (Ha Tinh).
The Vung Ang 220kV Transformer Station Project is one of the projects launched by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Vietnam Electricity Group to accelerate the progress to be completed in June 2025.
At the visit and encouragement for workers at the construction site, Chairman of EVNNPT Trade Union Trinh Tuan Son said that this is a very important project to ensure electricity supply for Ha Tinh province and the region during this year's hot season. EVNNPT Trade Union acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Central Power Project Management Board (CPMB) and contractors participating in the project who have made great efforts to complete the large amount of work.
The leaders of EVNNPT Trade Union suggested that units need to focus highly, closely coordinate with local authorities and people to propagate and mobilize, and remove obstacles in the route corridor. Along with that, mobilizing maximum resources to set a determination to complete the project before June 30, 2025 to practically celebrate the 4th EVN Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, practically celebrating the 17th anniversary of EVNNPT (July 1, 2008 - July 1, 2015).
On the occasion of Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Action Month, EVNNPT Trade Union presented practical gifts to units participating in the project.
