Bac Lieu Labor Union organizes sports to celebrate Workers' Month
Bac Lieu - On May 10 and 11, the Bac Lieu Provincial Federation of Labor organized a men's and women's volleyball tournament to celebrate Workers' Month 2025.
After two days of competition, on the morning of May 11, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prizes in men's football to the Bac Lieu Urban Construction Company team; the women's volleyball team to the Bac Lieu City Labor Federation.
The sports festival took place on May 10 and 11, with more than 300 union members, civil servants, and laborers from grassroots trade unions such as: District, Town, and City Labor Federations; Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Unions; Education Trade Unions, Health Trade Unions, and grassroots trade unions under the Provincial Labor Federation. For men's football, there are 13 teams participating in the knockout round; women's volleyball has 9 teams participating, drawing into 3 groups for the qualifying round.
This is one of the practical activities of the Provincial Trade Union to celebrate Workers' Month in 2025; more especially to compete to achieve achievements to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth; 50 years of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
At the same time, promote the physical education and sports movement to improve health following the example of great Uncle Ho for union members, civil servants, and laborers that the Trade Unions at all levels in the province have always paid attention to.
