500 workers and laborers in Da Nang participate in the football tournament

According to the Trade Union of High -Tech Park and Da Nang Industrial Parks, the traditional football tournament of the XVIII workers (workers) - by 2025 officially opened in the evening of April 19. The tournament is part of a series of activities to celebrate the working month, the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth, 50 years of the liberation of the South, reuniting the country and responding to the month of action on occupational safety and sanitation in 2025.

This year's tournament attracted 42 football teams with 500 union members and employees participating.

In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung - Chairman of the Trade Union of Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Zones, Head of the Organizing Committee - emphasized the significance of the tournament in improving spiritual life, enhancing exchanges and solidarity between units. He also called on athletes to compete honestly and noblely, and to contribute beautiful matches.

At the ceremony, the leaders presented souvenir flags to the participating teams. The athletes' representatives and referees also swore to compete and operate fairly and objectively.
