Exciting Workers' Football Tournament for the 11th Freeview Cup

After a week of exciting competition, on the afternoon of April 12, 2026, the 11th Freeview Cup 2026 Workers' Football Tournament officially closed, closing the season with many positive imprints in the sports movement of workers. The tournament is organized by the Trade Union of Freeview Industrial Co., Ltd. (Vietnam), attracting 10 teams with more than 120 athletes participating, including 8 men's teams and 2 women's teams from factories in the company.

The matches take place from April 5th to 12th at Hoang Sport artificial turf court (Tan Huong commune, Dong Thap province). Attending and cheering for the tournament were Mr. Hoang Khac Tinh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Chairman of the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones of Dong Thap; Mr. Thai Hong Giang - Deputy Hiep Ly, Managing Director of FVFVS - NB workshop, Mr. Le Vo Huu Hanh - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Freeview Industrial Co., Ltd. (Vietnam) and hundreds of athletes from 10 participating football teams, along with union members, workers, laborers, and families of the players.

Direct recording at the tournament shows that the teams have contributed many attractive and dramatic matches with a spirit of solidarity, honesty and nobility. Many teams have well-prepared, cohesive playing style, reasonable tactics; many players show good technique, endurance, contributing to improving the professional quality of the tournament. In particular, the semi-finals and finals attracted a large number of workers to the stadium to cheer, creating a vibrant and cohesive atmosphere.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded the Cup, souvenir flag and a prize of 8 million VND to the champion team; awarded the Second Prize including a souvenir flag, a silver medal and 6 million VND; the Third Prize received a souvenir flag, a bronze medal and 4 million VND. Sub-prizes such as Best Goalkeeper and Most Goalscorer were also awarded to typical individuals.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Le Vo Huu Hanh - Chairman of the grassroots trade union of Freeview Industrial Co., Ltd. (Vietnam), Head of the Organizing Committee - said that the tournament is an annual activity, not only creating a healthy and useful playground for union members and workers but also contributing to spreading the spirit of sports training and strengthening solidarity in businesses.

The 11th Freeview Cup Workers' Football Tournament in 2026 successfully closed, further affirming the role of trade union organizations in caring for the spiritual life of workers, and creating a premise for selecting forces to participate in the Dong Thap Provincial Workers' Football Tournament in 2026, scheduled to take place in May.
