Da Nang Hospital Sports Festival attracts 600 workers, civil servants, and laborers to participate
Da Nang - Da Nang Hospital organizes the opening ceremony of the 2026 sports festival with the participation of nearly 600 athletes who are officials, employees, and laborers.
To celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (July 28, 1929 – July 28, 2026) and towards the 14th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Da Nang Hospital officially opened the 2nd Workers, Civil Servants and Laborers (CNVC-LĐ) Sports Festival - 2026 on May 10. The Sports Festival attracted nearly 600 athletes representing 8 competition blocks.
In recent years, in parallel with the professional task of medical examination and treatment, the Party Committee, Board of Directors and Trade Union of Da Nang Hospital have always focused on the spiritual life of employees. Many practical activities have become the "brand" of the hospital such as: "Danang Hospital Got Talent" contest, badminton, table tennis, pickleball and mini-football tournaments for men and women...

According to the Organizing Committee, this Sports Festival is not only a playground for health training but also a bond connecting the spirit of solidarity, building a positive working environment between departments and rooms. This is also a specific action in implementing Resolution No. 72-NQ/TW of the Politburo on protecting, caring for and improving people's health, thereby building a team of doctors and medical staff with health and bravery to successfully complete the assigned political tasks.
The sports festival takes place from May 10 to May 30 with 9 competition sports including: mini football (men's, women's), badminton, table tennis, tug of war, sack jumping, jumping rope, pickleball and chess. The large participation of nearly 600 non-professional athletes who are doctors, nurses, and technicians created an extremely exciting atmosphere of competition from the first hours.
On this occasion, the City Labor Federation awarded Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 2 individuals and Certificates of Merit from the Da Nang City Labor Federation to 9 individuals who had outstanding achievements in trade union activities in 2025.
