Trade union organizes many meaningful activities for female union members on March 8th
Ho Chi Minh City - Many practical and meaningful activities are being implemented by the Trade Union organization to celebrate March 8th in the eastern area of the city.
On March 7, Working Group No. 5 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) said that to celebrate International Women's Day March 8, a series of meaningful and practical activities will take place in the area towards female union members and workers.
In which, a large number of female union members and workers will attend the thematic activity conference "Preserving a happy family - Core values of women in the new era", receiving gifts from the Trade Union organization on March 8.
In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Union coordinated to donate 600 ao dai to female union members and workers; Tu Du Hospital coordinated to provide counseling, health check-ups, and free medicine distribution to about 300 female union members and workers, and 100 people who are children of union members and workers in the area.
At the same time, the working delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, and Area Management Working Group No. 5 also visited, encouraged, and presented gifts to businesses in the area. Combined with visiting, encouraging, and giving lucky money at the beginning of the year to 30 female union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Practical activities on March 8 organized by the trade union will contribute to creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere and encourage female union members and workers to actively work, labor and produce, and successfully complete assigned tasks.
