Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union has 175 more union members from non-state-owned enterprises

On August 12, the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation announced that it had just established another grassroots trade union at a non-state enterprise. That is the grassroots trade union of Imperial Da Lat Hotel Joint Stock Company. At the ceremony, the Provincial Labor Federation announced the decision to establish a grassroots trade union and admit 175 employees.

The Provisional Executive Committee of the Grassroots Trade Union consists of 5 people. Mr. Nguyen Nhat Hieu was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Grassroots Trade Union.

Mr. Ho Cong Duong, Standing Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, requested the Executive Committee to soon stabilize the organization, build regulations and assign specific tasks. Grassroots trade unions are required to proactively grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members. At the same time, perform well the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers.

The Executive Committee is also proposed to coordinate with businesses to organize emulation movements, improve productivity and work quality. Thereby contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.

Representatives of the Provisional Grassroots Trade Union Executive Committee said that they will focus on building operating regulations, assigning tasks and grasping the thoughts of union members. The Trade Union also coordinates with businesses to take care of life and protect the rights of workers.

Over the past time, the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation has identified developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions as key tasks in the 2025-2030 term. From mid-April 2026, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation established the Steering Committee for developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions for the 2025-2030 term.

Commune, ward, and special zone trade unions are required to develop appropriate plans. The focus of mobilization is non-state sector enterprises, industrial zones and clusters, and areas with a large concentration of workers.

Through this, the Trade Union organization continues to expand coverage, attract more workers to participate and strengthen its representative role at the grassroots level.
