Mao Khe Ward Union sets a target of admitting 2,500 more union members in the new term

Attending and directing the Congress were Mr. To Xuan Thao - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor; Mr. Nguyen Van Ngoan - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Council; along with comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Standing Committee of the People's Council, People's Committee, Ward Fatherland Front Committee and 121 delegates representing more than 5,000 union members.

Mao Khe Ward Trade Union currently manages 58 grassroots trade unions, with 5,432 union members.

In the period of 2023-2025, the Ward Trade Union has effectively implemented the proposed programs and resolutions; focusing on taking care of the practical benefits of union members through the programs "Welfare for union members", "Tet Sum Vay", "Union Shelter", "capital support fund for poor workers" and social assistance activities.

Activities such as "Workers' Month" and "Cultural - Sports Festival of Workers and Employees of Quang Ninh province" were organized enthusiastically, attracting a large number of union members, workers and people to participate. The ward union also actively directs grassroots unions to proactively participate in natural disaster prevention and control, and promptly support union members facing difficulties due to storms and floods.

In organizing, the Ward Union regularly focuses on developing union members, establishing new grassroots unions; promptly grasping and resolving labor relations, ensuring security and order and strengthening workers' trust in the union organization.

Patriotic emulation movements have been innovated in content and form, attracting a large number of employees to participate, especially the movements "Good workers, creative workers", "Outstanding advanced workers", associated with emulation movements to celebrate major events and national holidays.

The Congress passed the Resolution for the 2025-2030 term with specific goals: Establishing 15 new grassroots trade unions, admitting 2,500 union members (increasing at least 1,000 union members); 90% of enterprises with 20 or more employees establishing trade union organizations; 90% of employees are disseminated and disseminated the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws related to trade unions.

Introduce at least 50 outstanding union members/year for the Party to consider and admit.

Speaking at the congress, Mr. To Xuan Thao and Mr. Nguyen Van Ngoan acknowledged and praised the results achieved by the Mao Khe Ward Trade Union, and at the same time suggested that in the coming term, the Ward Trade Union continue to promote its role of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; focus on improving the effectiveness of coordination in building and implementing grassroots democracy regulations; promote emulation movements "Good workers, creative workers", "Outstanding advanced workers" with the goal of " pr duniability, quality, efficiency "Best guaranteed rights, better benefits".

Ward trade unions need to promote the application of information technology and digital transformation in union member management; strengthen inspection and supervision, and build a strong union organization.

At the Congress, the Provincial Federation of Labor announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Mao Khe Ward, term I, consisting of 7 comrades. Mr. Duong The Vung was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Trade Union of Mao Khe Ward, term I, 2025-2030.
