Trade unions celebrate the 14th National Party Congress in the digital space
The Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union, Da Nang City, pioneers in innovating propaganda methods, applying digitalization to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress. Determining 2026 as a "sharpening" year for digital transformation, the Ward Union Executive Committee has implemented a series of propaganda activities with a renewed mindset, in line with the new situation.
Mr. Tra Thanh Quang - Chairman of the Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union, Da Nang City - said: Since the beginning of January 2026, the Ward Trade Union has instructed its affiliated grassroots unions to simultaneously change the cover photos on the Fanpage and internal Zalo groups. In particular, instead of spontaneous designs, units used a unified set of relief paintings to propagate the 14th Congress issued by competent authorities. This not only ensures standards in political content and solemn colors but also creates unity and scale in the entire ward union system, demonstrating seriousness and methodical work in ideological work.
The media highlight is the online photo contest "Check-in with history - Proud of the Party Flag". Instead of passive propaganda, the Ward Union has taken advantage of the 3D/VR digital exhibition platform to create an interactive playground. Thousands of union members and workers have used smartphones to access virtual space, visit the famous 96-year history exhibition booth of the Party and take screen photos (check-in) at the most impressive corners.
A strong visual effect was created when a series of union members simultaneously posted these 3D check-in photos on their personal Facebook. Each personal account becomes a vivid "pano propaganda", covering the newsboard with beautiful images of the Party, accompanied by positive feelings. This method helps the Party's message penetrate more deeply and spread more widely many times than traditional methods. With its new approach, the Hoa Khanh Ward Trade Union has shifted from passive "listening - reading" propaganda to proactive "inter action - experience"; helping union members and workers better understand the glorious 96-year journey of the Communist Party of Vietnam through vividly digitized historical documents. Through the contest, it is also a specific practice step for union members to get acquainted with new technology applications (VR/3D), safe and civilized skills in using social networks; thereby concretizing the theme of activities in 2026: "Digital transformation in Trade Union activities".
