100 delegates attend the Trade Union Congress of ITM Semiconductor Vietnam Company Limited

The Congress summoned 100 delegates representing more than 2,000 union members of the company.

The Congress Presidium presented the Report summarizing trade union activities for the 2023-2028 term and proposed directions for activities for the 2025-2030 term. Accordingly, from 2023 to present, the Trade Union of ITM Semiconductor Vietnam Co., Ltd. has made efforts to perform its role of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers.

The grassroots trade union has successfully negotiated many practical contents on wages, bonuses, and benefits, creating peace of mind and long-term attachment for employees. The work of giving gifts on holidays and commemorations (New Year's Day, Lunar New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival, April 30...) has been maintained for more than 2,000 union members, with the expenditure for each holiday ranging from 200 million to more than 1 billion VND. Every month, the grassroots union visits sick union members, mothers, donors, parties and organizes union members' birthday parties with an average expenditure of 50 million VND/month. The union has mobilized union members to donate to support people affected by natural disasters caused by storm YaGi with more than 30 million VND in cash and many items.

In particular, successfully negotiating the priority card regime, not having to queue when receiving shift meals and not having to go through the door from security for female workers who are pregnant. The cost of childcare support for female workers with young children (from newborn to 6 years old) is 50,000 VND/child/month.

Every year, the company organizes cultural and sports activities that gather nearly 400 staff and union members to participate. The company has established a women's football and women's badminton teams. The women's football team won the Second Prize of the whole team at the Women's Football Tournament organized by the Trade Union of Bac Ninh Industrial Parks in 2024.

The Congress listened to enthusiastic presentations, focusing on caring for the lives, protecting the legitimate and legal rights of workers and building and developing union members, and consolidating grassroots trade unions.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc - Vice President of the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor acknowledged and praised the positive results that the Company's Trade Union has achieved in the past term. He requested the new Executive Board of the Trade Union to continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, focus on caring for and protecting the legitimate rights of union members and workers, while promoting the spirit of solidarity and creativity in production labor, contributing to the Company's sustainable development.

The Presidium announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of ITM Semiconductor Vietnam Co., Ltd. for the third term, 2025-2030, consisting of 11 comrades, including 3 comrades of the Standing Committee. Accordingly, Comrade Nguyen Dinh Tung - Deputy Head of the Production Planning Department will be the Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union. At the Congress, the members of the new Executive Committee launched the Congress and promised to be determined to successfully achieve the set goals.

With a high sense of responsibility, the Congress voted to pass the Congress Resolution with the absolute consensus (100%) of the delegates attending.
